My name is Colin Spratt

I run Ancient Trees of Vancouver and I will also be the one guiding you on your tour. I am an avid big tree seeker and a member of the BC Big Tree Committee, spending most of my free time searching for and documenting the last remaining old growth giants in the Pacific Northwest. You may have seen me in the news recently regarding finding such trees as the North Shore Giant (CBC NEWS), or getting interviewed about my life as a big tree seeker (Day in the Life: A Big Tree Hunter). My love for big trees started in Stanley Park and I have spent countless hours exploring and researching the history of this park - I can’t wait to share it with you.
